Thanks to Laura Gianotti of the Winhall Community Arts Center for organizing another successful community luncheon! Thanks to William Raveis Winhall Real Estate for providing the delicious barbecue lunch. Thank you to our amazing volunteers that make this event possible. Today we shared lunch with 34 wonderful people! Thanks to Carol Brosseau, Bobbi Schwarz, Andie Fusco, and Elaine Villano for the delicious desserts. Next month’s luncheon will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 12pm. Don’t forget the luncheon is held every month on the 3rd Thursday at the Winhall Memorial Library.

Come in and check out our display at the Winhall Memorial Library! Our little library owns 68 of the 100 titles on the list. THE GREAT AMERICAN READ is an eight-part series airing on PBS, beginning on May 22, that explores and celebrates the power of reading, told through the prism of America’s 100 best-loved novels (as chosen in a national survey).  It investigates how and why writers create their fictional worlds, how we as readers are affected by these stories, and what these 100 different books have to say about our diverse nation and our shared human experience.
