Book Sale & Baked Goodies Silent Auction

October 24-25, 2025

The library is having a HUGE fundraiser in the side yard tent. There will be a used book sale and new this year, a baked goodies silent auction. The sale and auction will go straight through opening at 5pm, Friday and ending on Sunday at 4pm, so bring your flashlight if you are shopping after dark! This is our big fundraisers of the year. Did you know we are an independent library with a portion of our budget coming from the towns of Winhall and Stratton.

The book sale will have a great selection of donated books and weeded titles from our collection. The book sale helps clear out books to make room for new books. The silent auction will feature a variety of baked goodies from cakes to boxes of biscotti and lasagnas. Participation is easy, you just fill out a bid form in the tent, get your number and start bidding. Be sure to stop back throughout the weekend so you don’t loose out on that tasty treat. Once the auction is over winners and chefs will be connected so they can coordinate a future date for delivery.

Plants & Books & Baked Goodies SALE: Fundraiser

Saturday, May 24 from 9am to 12pm
Plan on purchasing your hanging basket from the library’s annual plant sale. A pre-order form with details will be available shortly, so we can all plan accordingly. Other plans will be available day of as well. There will also be a book sale. Books will be accepted between May 1-24. Assume any books left on the porch will be damaged by weather so please bring them in or package appropriately. And new this year, we will also be offering sweet baked treats and coffee!

Book Sale – Used

Friday, October 25 starting at 6pm straight through to Sunday, October 27 at 4pm.

Help us rehome a TON of books. A great selection of donated books and weeded titles from our collection all under the tent in the side yard. Sale donations will go to the library and The Mountain School at Winhall.

Why are we weeding books out of our collection? To make room for all the new titles that continually arrive for our patrons.
